Anker 45W USB C Superfast Folding Charger Block

I have owned this block for over a year, and have since replaced most of my blocks with this one. Anker is a solid brand and this seems to be a lasting product.

The reason I love this block is that it is 45W. Until recently, I did not realize that the charging speed really depends on how much power is getting through and noticed that too many blocks I had were only 20W. This block charges my phone so quickly in comparison. 

You may see other blocks that are 45W and offer two charging slots. Be aware that those have immediately some loss of power, even if you charge just one gadget. If you are charging two at once, you will be getting half as much power to each gadget. Hence, I highly recommend this speedy friend, especially if you have it always plugged in ready to go, like at home by the sofa or in your office.

I also like that it has folding prongs, making it less cumbersome to travel with. One thing to note: it is heavy. Which is why it is ideal for home use, but frankly I travel with it, too. I think it is a trade off that I will gladly make, as I have never been in a situation where I wanted my phone to charge slower. I mean ... right?
